Neither Proofbox Services FZCO nor IP-Ghostwriting does provide legal representation or legal services. The ghostwriters who offer services through IP-Ghostwriting are not appointed or instructed by IP-Ghostwriting and do not act on behalf of IP-Ghostwriting. Ghostwriters are independent professionals (e.g. European Patent Attorneys or national patent attorneys) who offer ghostwriting. These professionals do not represent clients before patent offices, do not manage deadlines, and do not communicate with official authorities on behalf of clients unless formally appointed outside of IP-Ghostwriting.

IP-Ghostwriting facilitates contact between users (clients) and external ghostwriters. The actual ghostwriting service, including content, scope, quality, and delivery, is provided exclusively by the individual ghostwriter. IP-Ghostwriting does not review, edit, or guarantee the ghostwritten content, nor does it participate in the creation of the document beyond enabling the connection between the two parties.

Clients using IP-Ghostwriting remain fully responsible for:
- The use of any ghostwritten documents they receive;
- The submission of such documents to patent offices or any other authority;
- Ensuring that content meets their legal, technical, and strategic requirements;
- Independently reviewing the document for accuracy and completeness;
The content provided through IP-Ghostwriting does not constitute legal advice and should not be used as a substitute for formal legal consultation.

IP-Ghostwriting assumes no liability for:
- The correctness, completeness, legality, or suitability of any ghostwritten content;
- Any damages, losses, legal rejections, or procedural consequences resulting from the use of such content;
- The actions, delays, or omissions of the ghostwriter.
Ghostwriters are not employees, agents, or legal representatives of IP-Ghostwriting or the operator of IP-Ghostwriting. Any contractual or legal relationship exists solely between the client and the ghostwriter.

All rights to the submitted invention disclosures and ghostwritten content remain with the client. IP-Ghostwriting promotes confidentiality through internal safeguards and non-disclosure principles outlined in its NDA. However, IP-Ghostwriting does not accept liability for the misuse or unauthorized disclosure of information once it has been transferred to the ghostwriter.

IP-Ghostwriting is operated by Proofbox Services FZCO, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. All legal matters or disputes related to the use of this platform shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the IP-Ghostwriting platform (www.ip-ghostwriting.com), which facilitates connections between clients and qualified professionals for patent-related and/or IP-related ghostwriting services. Additionally all terms, policies and disclaimers of Proofbox Services FZCO do apply. You can find these on www.proofbox.co/legal.

IP-Ghostwriting operates as a neutral intermediary between clients (e.g. inventors, companies) and independent ghostwriters (e.g. European Patent Attorneys, national patent professionals). The platform does not provide legal advice or legal representation and is not involved in the creation or review of the ghostwritten content. Ghostwriters act independently and are not employees, agents, or legal representatives of IP-Ghostwriting. IP-Ghostwriting does not enter into any legal or service agreement on behalf of either party.

All services offered through IP-Ghostwriting (in terms of matching a client with a ghostwriter which fullfills these services) are limited to ghostwriting document like:
- Patent applications;
- Responses to office actions;
- (Optionally) technical assistance for filing via EPA Online Filing 2.0;
In general, the ghostwriters matched with any client do not represent clients before patent offices, do not manage deadlines, and do not correspond with authorities unless separately appointed by the client outside the platform IP-Ghostwriting.

Payments for services provided by any ghostwriter may be processed through IP-Ghostwriting via invoicing. Clients agree to pay the full amount invoiced for the ghostwriting service. IP-Ghostwriting retains a mediation fee, which is included in the total amount invoiced. The remaining portion is transferred to the ghostwriter after service delivery. Clients are not entitled to communicate or pay the ghostwriter directly outside of the IP-Ghostwriting platform unless explicitly authorized by IP-Ghostwriting itself. Invoicing is handled by Proofbox Services FZCO (the operator of IP-Ghostwriting), and all prices are shown either excluding or including applicable taxes depending on the client’s location.

All intellectual property and rights to content provided by the client (e.g. invention disclosures) remain solely with the client. Ghostwriters must treat all disclosed information as confidential. IP-Ghostwriting promotes confidentiality by ensuring that only qualified professionals are matched, and through reference to its Non-Disclosure Statement. However, IP-Ghostwriting does not assume liability for the conduct or confidentiality breaches by external ghostwriters.

The use of IP-Ghostwriting is at the client’s own risk. IP-Ghostwriting and its operator shall not be held liable for:
- The quality, accuracy, or legality of the ghostwritten documents;
- Any damages, direct or indirect, resulting from their use;
- Rejections by patent offices, loss of priority, missed deadlines, or procedural failures;
- Any failure, negligence, or omission on the part of the ghostwriter;
By accepting these Terms, the client expressly agrees to hold IP-Ghostwriting and its operator harmless from all claims, damages, or liabilities that may arise from the use of the ghostwriting services facilitated through the platform.

Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information;
- Reviewing ghostwritten content before use or submission;
- Submitting any documents themselves unless separately appointing a representative;
- Complying with all applicable intellectual property laws;
Clients may not use the platform for unlawful or unethical purposes.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, where the operator of IP-Ghostwriting is located. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

IP-Ghostwriting reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on this page. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
